Construction Foreperson

We are seeking a Foreperson with 5+ years' experience to join our maintenance team in Taupo. The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Supervisor in the onsite operational management of maintenance work crews and subcontractors on our Taupo maintenance projects.

We are looking for a candidate who has a great attitude, strong work ethic, takes pride in their work and wants to refine their skills as part of our team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide onsite operational management of maintenance work crews and subcontractors to enable them to complete their scopes of work to specifications, codes and regulations
• Coordinate work as prescribed and ensuring that safety protocols are always followed
• Provide a safe work environment for all employees, subcontractors and the public on all your worksites - ensure safe work methods are always applied
• Making the Supervisor aware of any problems relating to job, staff or site hazards
• Carry out and participate in daily prestart meetings, hazard id's and tail gate meetings
• Complete all documentation required for the role including timesheets, daily job sheets, pre-start inspections, plant usage sheets, quality checklists, hazard id's etc
