We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand assistant to join a major earthworks project on Auckland's North Shore. This is a hands-on role for someone who can run a crew, work unsupervised, and step into machinery operation when required. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a site crew
- Work unsupervised and manage daily site activities
- Operate plant and machinery when required
- Carry out hands-on manual work as needed
- Maintain site safety and productivity standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Leading Hand on civil / earthworks sites
- WTR endorsement - required
- Class 2 licence - an advantage
- Confident operating plant and machinery
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Physically fit and not afraid of manual work
- Reliable, safety-focused, and self-motivated
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing
