Nau mai haere mai ki tā mātou whānau | Welcome to our Fulton Hogan Family

We are looking for a Network Inspector to join our team for our newly secured IDC contract with NZTA across the Manawatū and Whanganui regions. In this role, you will carry out thorough visual inspections of the network in line with set schedules, identifying both routine and ordered work and updating the AWM system to ensure data integrity. You'll be responsible for assessing asset conditions, providing evidence to inform decision making, sizing and logging necessary maintenance, and prioritising safety hazards and faults as per specification. The Inspector will record and address faults to support asset preservation and customer satisfaction, conduct day and night inspections, and attend alignment workshops.

We have positions available based from our Palmerston North and Whanganui branches.

In addition to the above you will:

  • Conduct visual inspections across the network as scheduled, identifying defects, routine and ordered work, and updating the Principal's AWM system for data accuracy
  • Log faults and assess their severity, ensuring maintenance needs and safety hazards are correctly prioritised and recorded as per guidelines
  • Provide clear evidence for decision making, size and scope required work, and oversee the quality of operational teams' output
  • Ensure contractual procedures are followed for changes in scope, support report preparation, and assist with planning, organising, and coordinating resources
  • Maintain positive relationships with NZTA and stakeholders, attend workshops, contribute to meeting KPIs, and assist with miscellaneous duties as required
