The Company:
One of the better structured contractors with a streamlined organisational culture are looking for a Site Manager. They target jobs between $5M - $20M and are often a little more complex and vary considerably across sectors into industrial type projects. They have all inhouse labour rather than subcontract. They have a constant stream of new work given the power of their relationships ensuring job security. They are a dynamic team who are hardworking but also know how to have fun so ensuring a rewarding culture.
The Role:
This role would see you leading a team of direct labour carpenters, working with a project manager to coordinate site activities. Such areas you will be involved with include managing sub contractors, toolbox meetings, site safety, quality control and assisting with ordering materials.
Your background:
- 5-6 years experience as a Site Manager in commercial or industrial construction
- Strong understanding of building codes, compliance, and industry best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and technical documents
- Skilled in scheduling, coordination, and site logistics
- Strong commitment to health & safety
- Competent with digital reporting tools and site management software
- Carpentry Trade qualification
Remuneration:
Salary: $115K - $130K + Veh
