The Brand:
Our client, New Zealand's leading jewellery & watch retailer with over 40 stores nationwide and a legacy spanning more than 100 years, is renowned for delivering exceptional service, offering a diverse product range, and fostering a vibrant team culture. With a strong commitment to the training and development of their staff, they are now looking for a talented Assistant Manager to lead their Richmond Mall store!

The Role:
This is a dynamic, hands-on position, and we are looking for a proven sales performer who is energetic and fully committed to delivering results for the brand. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Driving both individual and store-wide sales and KPI targets
- Inspiring and motivating the team daily by fostering a positive culture and ensuring exceptional customer service
- Managing in-store promotions and overseeing visual merchandising
- Handling HR functions, including performance management and recruitment
- Supporting the manager with all administrative tasks such as rostering, reporting, stocktakes, and stock management

You will bring a high level of professionalism with a natural ability to inspire and lead a team by working alongside them and setting an example. You will also possess:
- A genuine passion and commitment to the retail industry
- An enthusiastic, dynamic, driven, and self-motivated personality
- Proven success and experience in a similar retail role
- Initiative and the ability to think creatively and solve problems
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Full working rights in New Zealand (no sponsorship supported)
