Evo Cycles Westgate is looking for a Bicycle Service Technician who knows their way around a torque wrench and actually enjoys the puzzles that come with modern bike tech. We aren’t just looking for someone to "turn bolts"—we’re looking for the technical backbone of our West Auckland operation.
The Role: More Than Just a Workshop At Westgate, you aren’t hidden in a basement. You’re the maestro of the workshop. You’ll take full ownership of the space, from the first "hello" at the service counter to the final test ride.
The Full Spectrum: One minute you’re diagnosing a high-end e-bike system, the next you’re prepping a roadie for a weekend mission or getting a kid’s first bike ready for the driveway.
Master of Inventory: Quoting jobs accurately and keeping the parts cupboard stocked so the "Out of Action" rack stays empty.
The Bridge: Supporting the showroom crew with technical advice and making sure every customer feels like a Pro.
Lead the Way: Helping the West Auckland service scene thrive as part of NZ’s fastest-growing cycle family.
What’s in Your Toolboxes? The Track Record: You’ve got at least 3 years of professional shop experience. You’re "senior" enough to work solo but "team-player" enough to help a colleague.
The Communication: You can explain a hydraulic bleed to a customer without making it sound like rocket science.
The Growth Mindset: You’re ready to learn the latest Evo systems and stay ahead of the tech curve.
