Checkout Supervisor

Role:

• Customer focused providing an excellent level of customer service, ensuring a great customer experience
• Ensure high presentation standards for the Checkouts & store
• Effectively lead and guide a team of checkout operators
• Build positive, strong relationships within the department, wider team and leadership to get the very best results
• Train new operators and supervisors as needed
• Assist and resolve customer enquiries and concerns
• Restricted product sales responsibility
• Follow H&S, Food Safety and store procedures

What are we looking for:

• Customer service experience
• Leadership experience
• Supermarket / retail experience advantageous but not essential
• Strong work ethic, reliable, honest and be a good team player
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Confidence & maturity to access, approve or decline restricted product sales
• Ability to plan, observe, act and think one step ahead to meet the needs of our customers and our team
