Supermarket Assistants - Expressions of Interest

Our stunning store, in the heart of the magical Mangawhai community, has been operating since October 2022. 

With grocery, butchery, seafood, deli, bakery, produce, liquor, chilled and frozen, online and checkout departments in a beautiful new store, we are bringing a new era of shopping to our wonderful customers.

We are people focused - our team and our customers are important to us!  We have a brilliant team here and we are proud of the many compliments and amount of positive feedback from customers on how happy our team are and how wonderful the store is with our friendly team.

The grocery industry is fast paced and ever changing, meaning we are often recruiting in various departments throughout the store.

• Work in one of the above departments while sometimes covering other departments Provide a high level of customer service and assisting customers where needed
• Working with other staff members to ensure that stock is presented and put out accurately
• Ensure high presentation standards in all departments
• Build relationships with the wider team and leadership to get the very best results

What are we looking for:

• Supermarket / retail experience is advantageous but not essential
• Strong work ethic, dedicated, reliable, honest and be an excellent team player
• Confidence, initiative and maturity to work unassisted at times
• Self-starters and the ability work across multiple departments
