Are you a skilled timber joiner looking for an exciting opportunity in Wellington?

Join our client’s dynamic team and bring your craftsmanship to life. You’ll be working across private residential homes and building sites, installing custom kitchens and high-quality timber joinery throughout the Wellington region. (From time to time there will be travel out of Wellington).

Position: Timber Joiner / Team Leader Location: Wellington Region - with easy access to the Wellington Motorway Type: Full-time | Immediate Start

About the Role: As a Timber Joiner, you will: ★ Install high-quality timber joinery and cabinetry in a range of residential and commercial settings. ★ Work closely with clients, designers, and other tradespeople to ensure precision and excellence. ★ Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. ★ Ensure all installations meet industry standards and client specifications. ★ Maintain a clean and safe work environment. ★ Support and guide team members, including apprentices on site when required.

Requirements: ★ Proven experience in timber joinery and cabinetry installation. ★ Strong attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship. ★ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. ★ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. ★ Good communication and teamwork skills. ★ Full driver's license and reliable transport.

Qualification Requirement (NZ Level 4 Joinery) Applicants must hold: ★ A New Zealand Certificate in Joinery (Level 4) OR ★ An equivalent overseas trade qualification in Joinery or Cabinetmaking. (If your qualification is international, you must be able to demonstrate its equivalence through experience, portfolio evidence, and discussion of your training).

Eligibility Due to the immediate start: ★ Applicants must hold NZ Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or hold a current Work Visa. ★ However, visa support may be considered for exceptional international applicants with proven experience and qualification equivalency.
