Qualified Cabinet Maker

Stylish Custom Joinery is looking for an experienced Qualified Cabinet Maker to join our team in Grenada North, Wellington.

This role would suit someone with strong factory-based joinery experience, a high standard of workmanship, and the ability to work confidently across a variety of custom joinery projects. Our work includes kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, laundries, and commercial joinery.

The position is mainly factory-based, with install experience being beneficial.

About the role You will be involved in the manufacture and assembly of quality custom joinery, working from plans and specifications. You will need to be confident using workshop machinery and able to work efficiently as part of a professional team.

Experience with CNC machinery, edgebanders, and general workshop machinery is important. CAD knowledge would also be a bonus.

The ideal applicant will have:

• Trade qualification as a Cabinet Maker / Joiner
• 8+ years’ experience in cabinet making or joinery
• Strong knowledge of CNC, edgebander, and workshop machinery
• Ability to read and work from plans
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Driver’s licence
• Own tools
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
