Take the back breaking hard work out of moving your boat, caravan, horse float or any heavy and difficult to move trailer.

The Mighty Mover runs on its own 12v battery power supply, it's designed for low speed maneuvering helping you park your boat, caravan or heavy trailer load into very tight areas where your car or truck can't go. Simply lower the tongue of your trailer down onto the Mighty Mover's tow ball and lock in place just as you would on the back of your vehicle. Then using the handlebar switch or remote control you can precisely park your trailer exactly where you want it.

Can be used over rough terrain, shingle, concrete, asphalt, wood, just about any level surface. Flat sealed surfaces provide for the best operating conditions, If you feel you have difficult driveway, e.g. inclined, rough surface or any other issue that you feel may create poor towing surface/conditions we would be happy to provide advice on your best towing solution for your needs.

  • can you add pictures of the remote control please and how far away can you use the remote from the trolley? thanks Shane 44P 4*p (134)11:51 am, Thu, 1 Feb The remote control is hand held, most of our clients simply use the handlebar switch to control the mover, the remote is handy when moving say a caravan or a large boat and one can't see any obstacles behind, the remote allows the operator to nudge the towed vehicle closer to the parking spot (wall end of garage etc.) by controlling the mover from the other end of the vehicle. The range is approx 5 to 6 mtrs. Such maneuvers will usually require another person at the mover end to steer. voltmotive (25) • Thursday, 1 February 2018
  • hi, does this have a motor driving each wheel or one motor driving both wheels? thanks Shane. 4*p (134)09:52 pm, Sun, 4 Feb The motor drives both wheels simultaneously through a fixed axle which reduces wheel spin and increases traction. Very easy to turn. voltmotive (25) • Sunday, 4 February 2018

  • Hi there, what is the maximum tow-ball weight it is designed for? My heaviest trailer is about 1.3 tonnes, I am guessing this can push a load like that up a moderate incline? p******i (465)10:48 am, Mon, 26 Feb The tow ball weight is irrelevant as the jockey wheel remains down during a tow, pre-loading the downward weight on the coupling and through to the mover tires (traction) is controlled by winding the jockey wheel slightly up or down until a comfortable level is found. We would like to discuss incline towing as there are a number of important considerations around this. voltmotive (25) • Monday, 26 February 2018

  • hi there; looking at getting some help. i recently bought the mover but keeps lifting off when i try backing the boat. it has the tow bar on the top part. (2014 model.) do you sell any accessories or converting parts that i could add on so it turns into the model similar to the one shown in the picture above?? cheers' q*****t (1688)08:18 pm, Wed, 2 May Hi, The Mighty Mover should have a collar that sits around the tow ball, the tow ball adjust up or down in the tow ball carrier arm (this is achieved by loosening the tow ball locking nut) and turning the tow ball which is threaded into the tow ball arm, once the trailer coupling is locked onto the tow ball there should be no clearance between the top or the anti-torque ring and the underside edge of the trailer coupling. Once this adjustment is correct and this may take a few finer adjustment voltmotive (25) • Wednesday, 2 May 2018

  • would you have the collar available separately? just in case its not there. i cant recall very well if the unit has a collar. cheers' q*****t (1688)10:33 am, Fri, 4 May The collars are welded to the tow ball arm so unless the entire arm is missing it should be there. voltmotive (25) • Friday, 4 May 2018
  • Are these OK to use in the rain as weather doesn't always co-operate when it's time to put the caravan away :( i********n (306)09:49 am, Thu, 7 Jun Yes fine to use in the rain as with all electrical equipment it would be prudent to cover the electrical areas if the rain is heavy. • Hi I have a 2700kg boat and trailer, the trailr has a jockey stand - not a wheel, can this move it as you state the wheel stays down but I don't have one and it would just get stuck in the grass anyway t****1 (75)12:53 pm, Mon, 10 Sep Hello, Thanks for the inquiry. The Mighty Mover traction is controlled by the up and down adjustment of the towed vehicle's jockey wheel. In your instance where there is no Jockey wheel and just a stand this unfortunately will not work and isn't fit for purpose. If you replaced the stand with an appropriate jockey wheel, then the only consideration is "will the jockey wheel move over the grassed area" Please call to discuss 021 703 476 voltmotive (25) • Monday, 10 September 2018

  • Hi there , I have one of the older models and cooked the battery. Could you tell me where I can get a new battery from and perhaps a photo of how the wiring reconnects as I failed to take a photo before I removed... Many thanks in advance n*******6 (27)09:54 pm, Sun, 6 Jan Hi Any Marshall/Exide battery store should be able to help. From memory we used either a #5 or #6 battery in those models, any 12v battery will be fine so long as the physical dimensions allow the battery to fit the battery box. Sorry we don't have any pictures. The charging port is important to ensure the polarity is connected to the battery correctly as otherwise the charger protection fuse will blow. (Use a multi meter to determine the polarity) Regards Vic voltmotive (25) • Sunday, 6 January 2019

  • how are these on sand for those diffucult boat ramps on for a jet ski k************s (1063)01:07 pm, Thu, 6 Jun We can fit tires with a more aggressive tread pattern if required, the MM is primarily designed to operate over reasonably flat sealed ground. Traction at the MM drive tires is achieved in part by the down-ward weight at the draw bar/coupling of the towed vehicle. In your situation where a jet ski/trailer is quite light this can sometimes work against a successful tow and create MM wheel/tire spin. Please call to discuss your needs in more detail 021703 476. voltmotive (25) • Thursday, 6 June 2019
