This auction is for 6 sheets of Sounds Skins SS Lite.
Each sheet 1m x .5m. Total coverage is 3.06 sqm! These sell in NZ for $449.95, $1 reserve auction so the highest bid wins.
Comes in the stylish tube package that Sound Skins is known for, each auction comes with 3 tubes, says door kit on the packaging tubes, however each sheet being the standard size can use for floor plan, boot, speakers, door, and other parts of the interior of your vehicle.
SoundSkins Lite The New Standard
SoundSkins Lite, for years Dynamat has been the standard name in sound proofing and damping material for vehicles. Sound skins decided to revisit the idea and see if it could be improved.
SoundSkins Lite is a new material that breaks tradition as there is no foil layer holding the rubber butyl (the black sticky tar stuff) together. Instead with new technology we are able to compact the rubber butyl into thin black sheets.
Using this technic makes the material more pliable yet still make it dense enough to perform sound proofing all within a thin 1.6mm material.
The thinner material allows it to be installed in more vehicles without impacting on panel placement. The large sheets allow for faster install speeds. The nice black material makes for a cleaner looking install for that professional finish.
