KAWASAKI KT250 RE-PRODUCTION SEAT

Kawasaki KT 250 NZ made re-production seat. A quality product made by NZ manufacturers and sold overseas.

These fit the 1975 A model and 1976 A2 models.

So many of the original seats have rotted and rusted away. Once the covers perished or the stitching broke the rain/moisture would get into the foam and it would become a sponge and caused the steel seat pan to rust away. The seat base is made in fibreglass by leading NZ auto fibreglass manufacturer, a leading Wanganui engineer has made the mounting brackets in stainless steel with stainless screws and washers (this base will never rust away).

A leading Wanganui upholsterer has cut new foam to the correct shape (from an original in excellent condition) and the new vinyl cover with the correct piping on the seam.

An ideal item to complete your restoration or upgrade the comfort of your classic trials or trail bike.

(new seat covers are now available to purchase separately if your cover is currently cracked, stitching coming undone)

Lots of KTs were sold new in NZ via Dalgetys Farm Agents as farm bikes, plus they were sold as trials, trail and commuters through motorcycle shops throughout NZ.
