BMW 328ci 328Ci Coupe 2000

NZ new brought from BMW NZ for over $100,000!!!

As being NZ new its had a hard life with terrible drivers, cats and dogs scratching the paint - let alone the giant hole in the ozone layer that can fade paint like no tommorrow and of course the infamous supermarket trolley dents.

Has been a reliable steed for the missus for a few years now, but it defiantely has its faults - which I will describe below...

Interior - Black leather, great for easy cleaning and warming your bum on a hot day, this leather however has a tear in the drivers seat, a little stitching on the passenger seat that needs attention and a hole in the rear seat.

The headlining has some sagging which can be fixed DIY or even better an auto-upholsterer will do this as its a pretty common issue with these cars.

The Stereo has been changed at least once in its life so the stacker in the boot doesn't work nor the steering wheel controls for it.

Exterior - Grouse metallic black colour which really shines when clean, what doesn't shine is the faded - almost sanded looking roof. The drivers door has heavy scratching in one spot where there looks to of been a very impatient cat, rear bumper had a small meeting with a pole in a car park and the front bumper has met the ground several times in and out of driveways - its lower than you think!

The 2.8 litre straight six engine goes really well and cruises smoothly however at 100km there is a bit of a vibration through the car, this comes and goes it leaves if you speed up or slow down a bit.

18inch wheels and low profile tyres top off the look nicely - these too have a few marks/kerbing from general crappy driving.

A lot of history is documented in the owners manual from various BMW dealerships in NZ since it was new, but a lot of the last 5 plus years has not been added - such as the replacement engine fitted around 24months ago and the new battery fitted a fortnight ago amongst other things.
