2008 bmw 123d hatch. Nz new, m-sport.

PRICE REDUCED, cheapest, best value 123d on the market, only one that’s had the chains done.

Have found a car I would like to buy, make an offer, will consider any reasonable offers.

In great condition drives perfect. Recent wof, replaced control arm bushings and brake lines. Has had timing chains/guides/tensioners replaced, as well as sump gasket etc etc, have invoice to prove it.

Great car that’s plenty quick being 2L compound turbo (2 turbos). Excellent fuel economy, I’ve been averaging 6.2L/100km of combined driving. Cheap to fill, $90 a tank.

Has lovely half leather interior, has the nicer interior being a facelift interior, (2 piece door cards, taller lower dash which allows retrofit of double din headunit etc)

Non I-drive car which means it doesn’t have the useless flip up screen, nz new so has nz radio stations.

For asking price will come with the e90 m3 steering wheel fitted. This has the much nicer dct paddle shifters. (Worth approx $1200 being a genuine bmw m3 steering wheel). Steering wheel buttons are perfectly functional with the radio.

Only selling as I require a slightly bigger car.

As far as I’m aware it’s the only one currently on the market that’s had the timing chains/tensioners issue adressed and personally wouldn’t buy one that hasn’t had this done, its not a cheap fix ($5000) as the gearbox needs to come out (timing chains are at rear of Engine). This is a well documented issue, even BMW nz themselves recognise this as a common fault.
