1971 Chrysler Valiant Pacer
Description
Build number 141 of 1647 VH Pacers made. 3 speed manual, hemi orange. Optioned A95, delete 3 spoke steering wheel. I added 3 spoke still have the original 2 spoke, spare Pacer dash pad, original free flow headers (they were warped and had a crack), and other important original parts I have replaced. I've had my VH Pacer since 2004, time for someone else who loves them to take it over and become owner 8. Many 100's of hours spent by me and professionals on all aspects of my car. I've got photos showing all stages of panel work done. I have original ownership papers when it was imported from factory in Australia to NZ. This was the first VH Valiant Pacer imported into NZ. Engine reconditioned late September last year, West Auckland Engine Reconditioners who specialise in Valiants has just done ticked over 2500 miles, stage 2 cam (e37/38), yella terra roller rockers, etc.. Spent $17000 on this plus other work done. Still under warranty. Dynoed recently 158 bhp at the rear wheels. New exhaust system throughout including Pacemaker headers, 2 months ago, $2k job by Chris at Woolfe mufflers. Bare metal restore about 12 years ago, 25k spent on panel alone. Debeers paint used, new rubbers, wiring loom reconditioned, new roof lining, parcel tray, long list of replaced parts with receipts. Upgraded to helogen headlights, upgraded to factory electronic ignition. Rare factory airhorns. Daily driver means it's not sitting around unused. Not often a car of this calibre comes on the market, especially with all the hard work done. Making room to work on another Valiant project and I don't want the old girl sitting outside as I'm out of room. :)
