2004 MINI One
Background check
This vehicle has been de-registered in the past and then registered again. The registration may have expired because the licence was not kept current or it may have been in an accident and written off by an insurance company.
Description
Selling my amazing Mini One, in a reliable 5-speed manual transmission.
It has been extremely reliable and always serviced regularly - it has extensive service and maintenance history from previous owners. It drives incredibly smoothly and is in great mechanical condition. Regretfully selling only because I am moving permanently overseas. Both the exterior and interior are in great condition for their age.
Known issues: There is a tear in the upholstery of the driver’s seat, and some minor scratching in the paint. The glovebox closing mechanism is a little loose. There is a slight whistle from the driver's side window at motorway speeds, but no rainwater can get in. The passenger seat reclining function can be a bit finicky to operate, but it does work and always fully engages to be able to secure the seat.
The car has been an overall amazing vehicle during my ownership, but I am selling as-is because I am moving overseas and there may be other issues I do not know of. Viewings recommended - the car is located in Waiwhetu, Lower Hutt. Please feel free to ask any questions.
Comes with a fresh WOF (from the end of March) and live rego. It’ll make a great daily driver - spacious, fuel-efficient, and stylish. All four tyres have great tread.
It is very fuel-efficient. It was getting me 225 km on just $40 of gas.
Make this beauty your very own and have the pleasure of owning it yourself.
Re-listing due to previous sale falling through.

Questions & Answers
Is it turbo? hotskin (79 • 5:34 pm, Tue, 24 Jun )Hi there, thanks for your question. No, it does not have a turbo/turbo charger. It is a naturally aspirated engine. huttguy (61 • Tuesday, 24 June 2025 )Why was it deregd in the past aimskeez (9 • 8:24 am, Thu, 26 Jun )I'm not sure why it was deregistered - I bought it with a live registration and warrant of fitness. I can confirm that none of the mechanics that have viewed the car during my ownership have told me about any evidence of it having been in a significant accident. Maybe it lapsed? I can confirm that the vehicle is currently registered and live. No matter the reason for de-registration, the vehicle must have passed an extensive safety inspection to have been able to be re-registered by the NZTA. huttguy (61 • Thursday, 26 June 2025 )Where can i view it ? roenick (241 • 3:24 pm, Sat, 28 Jun )Hi there, viewings are in Waiwhetu, Lower Hutt :-) huttguy (61 • Saturday, 28 June 2025 )is there a buy now price ?
