1920 Other Fiat 501

This is a very original Fiat 501 Roadster, the body was built in steel by Johnson and Smith Coach Builders of Christchurch and is one of very few roadsters left. The car has only had one repaint in it's life, the body and paint are in very good condition, as is the upholstery. There has been some recent mechanical work and maintenance carried out. The 501 has spent just about all its life in Oamaru, being bought new by Major Harry Orbell in 1920 and stayed in that family until 1952 when it was sold to Ivan Main. In 2021 the car was then sold in Ivan's estate and bought by a friend, whom I then purchased it from.
