1965 Pontiac Other Bonneville

From the first year of production of this fourth generation model, and almost as grand as the salt flats its named after, this car has only had one New Zealand owner and was fully restored here in 2008.

The left-hand drive, two door, wide track convertible sports the standard 389ci (6.4 Litre) 325 hp (242 kw) V8 with a 3 stage turbo-hydromatic gear box.

In 1965 the Bonneville’s thoroughly modern styling and design pushed the model to 3rd place in the sales race of that year with "Motor Trend" magazine to name it car of the Year.

Today, 55 years later its time has come again for some lucky person to enjoy a ride like no other...

She won the "Best GM" trophy at the 2017 Fathers Day Drags at Meremere.
