An open-cell foam cartridge with an exceptionally large filtration surface for intensive mechanical cleaning.
The motor casing and cable remain in place while the filter compartment can be easily removed.
At the same time, excellent bio-filtration is guaranteed by the colonisation of friendly bacteria which will break down fish waste.
The cartridge will need changing when they are too compacted or disintegrating, or the water flow has reduced noticeably through the filter.
Approx dimensions: 50x50x120mm. Hole Diameter Approx: 25mm.
