Description
This Jug measures about 24cm tall x 16cm wide and the mouth is about 4cm diameter, with cork stopper.
Crafted by renowned New Zealand potter, Mooreen Cameron, of Point Wells, Matakana, Mahurangi. I'm listing on behalf of Mooreen's Niece, the daughter of Mooreen's brother, Peter.
Following an amazing, well acknowledged, career as a potter, Mooreen Cameron was the driving force behind the establishment in 1974 of Kowhai Crafts, now Kowhai Art and Craft Incorporated (2000), of which was the Club’s Patron.
Mooreen died in October 2018 aged 91 so her works will only appreciate in value.
