Training Aikido with the Institute of Aikido is one of the best decisions I’ve made. Sensei Dunken is an outstanding teacher as he places great emphasis on authentic Akido techniques and forms. That aside, he has a great sense of humor and most importantly, he takes a genuine interest in everyone who is in the club (the Aiki family). Through our trainings, Aikido has helped me to improve my self-confidence - for me, this is simply priceless. I would highly recommend Sensei Dunken and the club!

I have known Dunken Sensei since 2006 when he supported me as I prepared for my Black Belt grading. I have had the pleasure to train with him and see his school grow to where it is today. He is an excellent teacher with a strong emphasis on basics and Aikido principles. He is always willing to share and his organizational skills have seen him set up an outstanding Aikido school and also play a leading role in bringing together other schools to share and learn from each other. Highly recommended.

Dunken is a great teacher, especially with kids. All4 of our kids enjoy it.
