Background: My first job was working with my father in the family timber yard. Naturally this is where my passion to work with timber was nurtured. I continued to work there part-time whilst training to be an Architect. Soon after graduating, I earned a promotion to factory foreman (manufacturing frames & trusses for light-timber framed houses in NZ). Not too long after my full potential was realised within the company, and I became the General Manager. During this time, it had become apparent that there was an opportunity within the current market to establish an Outdoor Furniture company embracing NZ Pine Timber along with a focus on quality and high-value. That opportunity, along with a life-long dream to design and build, inspired the establishment of Breswa Outdoor Furniture, specialising in Quality, NZ Made, Outdoor Products.
