Funky serviced cromo rigid Diamondback Ascent mountain bike. Early 1990s
Cromo frame and fork. Rigid
Kept fairly original, as is our style, but made reliable for daily commuting or retro rides, with new cables tires grips and a deep service.
(ready and waiting to be made into a cafe cruiser, 1X or similar with a front rack)
Suits small to medium riders. I'm 6ft and it's small. Youth or shorter riders needed.
Ready to ride and enjoy after a major service, including all new cables, chain, pads saddle tires etc
Has
- Shimano 400LX groupset 3 x 7,
- serviced shifter (and one friction thumbie)
- new tan grips bolt on
- canti brakes, brand new pads
- all new cables
- brand new HG chain
- decent town country tires
- araya rims Exage hubs
All shifts and stops nicely, clean and lubed everywhere.
Notes
- orange of frame has faded
- various chips scrapes and minor rusty bit (on chrome)
- very hard saddle. Could provide softer.

Pickup: Glenfield pickup (Porana road) ideally on Saturdays, 9am-1pm
Workshop is usually open Monday to Friday 9-5, by arrangement please.
