The bike has a 26in rear wheel, 20in front.

Tires are original, we've kept bike as close to original as we could with a few subtle improvements

Has a Sturmy Archer rear hub. The hub required a major overhaul; greased cleaned and put back together correctly. Coaster style back-pedal brake.

Bike has a 'new' (restored / old) Brooks leather saddle with chrome seatpost. Saddle has been polished and dubbined. Original saddle will come with it, but note it is in need of new leather.

Original pedals (one a wee bit wonky). Rides fine.

The chain is original, scrubbed and lubed. Not made like this anymore!

The wicker style basket comes with the bike, but there are many options that would work in its place too (see photos of how these bikes are used as display pieces)

Most people put a display sign in the frame.

The bike is thoroughly cleaned, pumped, lubed, test ridden, and de rusted as best we could. It still has lots of legacy rust though non structural. Patina. Important to keep it greased / oiled where we have cleaned it or it will rust again e.g on the frame.

• Nb: Missing one spoke rear. Bit of work to replace it. If next owner intends to ride the bike, and it's important to them, we can look at sorting it*

Glenfield pickup (Porana road) Monday to Friday 9-5, by arrangement. Usually bikes are available on Saturdays too 9am-1pm.
