Thank you for ordering from us. Our payment process is simple, reliable and customer friendly. There are many ways you can pay for your order:

Pings – You can pay for your order simply choose Trademe Pings, it is the fast, efficient way to pay for your order. Once your order is paid, we will pack your order to dispatch right away/you can pickup your order from our warehouse without waiting.

Bank transfer – Once your order is placed, you will get an automatic email from us with our company account details on it. Please pay for your order within 7 working days before we cancel and close your order. Once your payment is received by us, you can pickup your order/we will dispatch your order in 2-3 working days.

You may pay at pickup – Bank transfer on pickup is available. We are heading towards a cashless society, to be safer and more hygienic for you and our staff, we only accept bank transfer at this stage. Just pay it on your mobile and show your screen to our staff and you’re right to go.

Please note that shipping charges may be reviewed post sale, if your delivery address is rural or not in a major shipping route. Sorry for any inconvenience caused, shipping charges are based on weight, size and location, while our system calculates weight and size, delivery locations could be a little tricky, so we will do everything possible to keep freight charges low and in the event shipping charges are way out, we will surely keep you informed and can look at options of full refund.

Pick up is more than welcome.

Please provide a valid contact number for shipping. During public holidays and Weekends, nothing will be shipped. You will have to wait till the next available working day. In some cases, we can combine shipping. So do let us know your destination and if you are buying two or more of our products.

We use Mainfreight to deliver your order to ensure that you are getting the best shipping fee and the network covers your area. The default Shipping cost is shipping the scaffolds to your closest Mainfreight depot. If you need to deliver to your address, the service is available too, but you may pay extras on shipping. Please get a quote on Q&A before placing an order.”

We are unable to deliver to PO boxes. Rural delivery will attract additional fees. Courier delivery is usually within 7 working days. Large freight could take up to 14 working days. Rural delivery could take additional 3-5 working days. Getting things delivered on time is important to us, but we can’t guarantee delivery times as we use a third-party shipping company. So, we can’t be liable for any loss, cost or expense caused by delay in delivery.

If the product is damaged in transit, please DO NOT SIGN for the delivery and have the shipper return the goods to sender, contact us and we will arrange for an alternative unit to be delivered. On signing for the delivery, you have accepted that the product is in good condition.

In these terms and conditions “we”, “our” and “us” means A+ scaffolding, “you” refers to you the customer. “Dollar” constitutes New Zealand dollars only. These terms and conditions together with your order constitute the entire contract between A+ scaffolding and the customer.

Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions are when purchasing products from us, you are accepting these terms and conditions. By accepting these Terms and Conditions you acknowledge that you are over the age of eighteen years old. We only sell and ship Products within New Zealand. We do not make deliveries outside of New Zealand.

Information Error – We strive to make every piece of information as accurately as we could. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error. We shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders and refund the full amount received.

Warranty

We stand behind all our products. All of our products carry a 3-month warranty (return to base) if not specially stated. We will fix or replace the faulty products. Refund will be given only if a replacement is not available. Warranties are not transferable beyond the original buyer. Shipping fee is not refundable. Warranty does not cover unauthorized repairs, incorrect assembly, rust, misuse, abuse or use of a product for which it was not designed. Warranty does not cover if your purchase was used for business/commercial purpose.

Returns

At A+ scaffolding, we strive to ensure that you have a pleasant trade, if you are not satisfied for any reasons, we’ll do our best to get things fixed really quickly. We will meet all our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act.

Your purchase arrived damaged, faulty or does not work as it should. Please contact our customer care team for assistance.

– Please retain the original packaging & invoice – You will be requested for accurate description of the fault via email and photos/videos where required. – This will help us and our supplier’s/couriers assess the fault or damage and offer the best possible resolution – We will validate the return and our team will guide you towards a drop off at our nearest branch or organize courier pick up – On return, we will assess the fault/damage, to approve the claim. Please allow 2-3 working days – We will work with you to organize a replacement or a refund. In some instances, we can have parts swapped or partial refunds processed by mutual agreement.

Change of mind requests

– Please contact our customer care team within 7 days of your purchase – The product must be in mint condition, unopened in its original packaging – Original shipping and return shipping will be at buyer’s cost. The return courier is at the transit risk of the buyer. – On our team’s assessment of the return to be 100% suitable for resale. A credit note will be issued within 7 working days excluding any shipping

General Terms

– Please contact our customer care team for any returns so we can assess and guide you through to avoid any disappointments prior to coming into the store. – For purchases uplifted at our branch, returns of any kind will have to be made at the nearest branch only. – Products purchased must be used for personal or household use (non commercial) for warranty purposes. CGA does not cover Commercial products. – Refunds will only be processed using the same mode of payment which was accepted at the time of purchase.

General Safety Notes The following Safety Notes apply to mobile tower frame scaffolding supplied by A+ Scaffold. It is recommended that these Safety Notes be available to users of the scaffold and read in conjunction with:

• Assembly instructions for the mobile tower frame scaffold system;
• Local Statutory Acts and Regulations, as applicable.

Scaffold structure A completed set of scaffolds mobile/tower should include the following parts:

• ladder frames
• cross braces
• a completed platform with trapdoor
• handrail on top
• adjustable feet / wheels
• Outrigger (over 2 stages)

Please check parts for the listing and understand the risk of getting the uncompleted sets or building your own structure. If you buy scaffold for workplace, please make sure you have necessary support parts at your end if you buy the uncompleted sets. For example, if you buy the 4.5/6.5m scaffold which come without handrail, you need to build your handrail at your end if you decide not buying from us.

SAFETY NOTES 1 Ensure the scaffold is erected in accordance with the assembly instructions. Persons erecting altering or dismantling a scaffold must hold the relevant scaffolding certificate of competency if: a) the scaffold is over 5m in height. b) the potential fall height from the scaffold through a penetration or over the edge of a floor is more than 4m in height

2 Do not use damaged, incorrect or incompatible components. Always inspect the scaffold before use. 3 Ensure that all the components required to build the scaffold are together and are of the same make. Do not mix and match components from other systems. 4 Ensure that there is a safe working area for the scaffold. 5 Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment during all activities related to construction, use and dismantling of the scaffold. 6 Ensure the scaffold is erected on a solid and unobstructed base. Use sole plates where necessary. 7 When erecting and using, ensure the scaffold is level and in contact with the ground by adjusting the leg & castor assembly and outriggers. Mobile scaffolds should not be used on ground slopes greater than 5 degrees. 8 Do not erect the scaffold closer than 4.6m to electrical power lines unless permission has been given by the electrical supply authority responsible for the power lines. 9 Ensure that outriggers are in position to maintain a height to minimum base width ratio of 3:1. Height of towers with base width less than 1.2m should not exceed twice least base dimension. 10 All platforms over 2m in height must have toe-boards, guardrails fitted. 11 Ensure the scaffold is complete and that the castor wheels are locked before using the scaffold. 12 Do not climb up the rungs on the outside. Always climb scaffolds from the inside, via ladders. 13 Do not exceed the specified Safe Working Load of the scaffold, typically 225kg per bay. 14 Do not use boxes, steps or ladders on top of the work platform to gain extra height. 15 Do not move the scaffold with persons or materials upon it. Before moving the scaffold ensure that it is clear of obstructions at overhead and at ground level (for example, pot-holes, ducts, pipework, power lines etc). 16 To move the scaffold, only apply force by pushing at or near the base and ensure that the tower remains stable during movement -typically vertical. 17 Protect the scaffold from corrosive substances such as hydrochloric (muriatic) acid and potash. They are highly corrosive to steel components and can seriously affect the strength of the equipment. 18 Always tie in the tower to a rigid structure in strong wind conditions, especially between buildings when wind speeds exceed 45 km/h. 19 Do not push or lever against the scaffold in use. Such (horizontal) forces can cause instability of freestanding towers. Take care when a drill is being used and tie in if required. 20 Do not use sheeting encapsulation around the tower unless designed accordingly by a competent person. 21 Do not lift materials or equipment outside the base area of the tower unless designed accordingly by a competent person. 22 Ensure the scaffold is secure and access to unauthorised persons is prevented when left unattended. 23 Where scaffolds are left incomplete affix a Warning sign and guard off the scaffold from entry by unauthorised persons.

PLATFORM WORKING LOADS The Maximum working load limit per tower is Light Duty (225kg)

BASIC MAINTENANCE RULES 1 Take good care of the scaffold. The equipment should be kept clean and dry, especially joints and moving parts. Components should fit together easily without the use of force. 2 All working parts should be lightly lubricated with light machine oil. 3 Do not let parts fall to the ground. Such abuse may damage the equipment and reduce its load capacity or render it unserviceable. 4 Never modify the scaffold components without authorization from the manufacturer. 5 In the event of damage, A+ scaffold equipment must only be replaced by A+ scaffold.
