We are not able to accept Hamills Store Credits, Gift Cards and/or eVouchers as a method of payment on Trade Me. We now also accept payments using Afterpay.

At Hamills, we want to keep it as easy as possible for you, so we offer:

$5 flat rate shipping to New Zealand North Island non-rural addresses. $8 flat rate shipping to New Zealand South Island non-rural addresses All New Zealand orders travel with NZ Post, Aramex or Team Global Express.

Please note there are a handful of oversized/heavy items that may incur additional shipping costs. If this is the case with your item, we will advise you of the cost before dispatching.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES (NEW ZEALAND) We know you’re going to be super keen to get your new purchase so that’s why we will process and dispatch orders usually within 24 hours of your order being received. If there are likely to be delays with the dispatch of your order, we will be in contact to let you know. Actual delivery time will depend on your location.

Once your order has been processed and dispatched, indicative delivery times are as follows: North Island orders: 1-3 working days from dispatch. South Island orders: 2-5 working days from dispatch. Rural delivery or remote locations can take just a little longer so please allow an additional 2 working days.

Orders will be processed Monday – Friday.

Unfortunately, overnight or Saturday deliveries cannot be guaranteed.

If you’re not completely satisfied with your new Hamills purchase you are welcome to exchange it for a full refund, a store credit or an alternative product, within 14 days of your purchase along with the original receipt*.

*Excludes hardware (including thermal imagers, binoculars, rangefinders and rifles unless there is a manufacturer fault), underwear, food, gas canisters and gift vouchers. Refunds exclude freight cost when order has been made online.

Your rights under this change-of-mind policy are in addition to any rights you have under consumer laws.

Please contact us by email or phone (073787779) to advise us of the return. Send your items back to our returns address below. For exchanges, please also specify the size and colour of the replacement items. Do not include your credit card details on this form or in any correspondence.

Online purchases can alternatively be returned or exchanged at Hamills Taupo along with your original receipt except for the following. Please contact us in advance to make sure the item you wish to exchange for is in stock.

Hamills Taupo Refund & Exchange Policy

Returned product must be unused, be in the original packaging with all tags still intact. Postage must be paid for by the returnee and will not be refunded. Please note, we are not able to process an exchange for an item of higher value. Please allow 10-14 days for us to receive and process your request. We will notify you via email when we have exchanged/returned your items. Processing times for exchanges or refunds may take longer during sale periods.

If you return a purchase made by a gift card, we will issue a new gift card to the value of your purchase.

Damaged Goods or Incorrect Order upon Arrival

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect please contact us on (+64) 7-378 7779 (New Zealand). If we need the product to be returned to us, we will arrange this at our cost and ensure a replacement is on its way to you as soon as possible.

What if the product I ordered is out of stock? We try our absolute best to keep our stock online up to date, but on the odd occasion it might not line up to what is on the shelf in store. If the product you ordered is out of stock, we will contact you immediately to offer an alternative. If nothing else is suitable, we’ll offer a full refund of the purchase price.

How do I cancel an order? If you have placed an order in error, please contact us as soon as possible and we will be happy to refund this for you. You can reach us on 073787779.

I’m really keen on an item but you are showing out of stock. Are you able to order it in for me? We love to help wherever possible. Sometimes a certain item in a certain size might sell through really quickly when it reaches us in store – just get in touch with us and we might be able to set one aside for you. How soon will you dispatch my order? We aim to dispatch most orders within 24 hours (Monday to Friday). If there is likely to be any further delay than this, we will be in contact to advise you of your updated estimated dispatch time.

How do I purchase air rifles, firearms or ammunition? As these items are age or license restricted, you will be required to complete a Firearms Mail Order Form before we can release the goods. We will supply you with the necessary paperwork once your order is confirmed.
