The 2014 Clipsal 500 was possibly one of the lowest points for Team BOC. A huge crash after a safety car restart saw the #8 Commodore completely written off, with less than two weeks until the next race meeting in Melbourne.

That didn’t deter the boys and girls at Brad Jones Racing however. The crew were back in their Albury workshop on the Monday morning after the crash building a new Team BOC Commodore from scratch, and in under a fortnight, a new car 8 was born.

With them through the whole process were their loyal Facebook followers, keeping up to date with their progress through regular team updates. The team were so overwhelmed by the support that they then printed the names of their followers who supported them through the process on the rear wing of the new car.
