Matchbox 1970 Series No73 Mercury Commuter Made in England by Lesney
I must have been 6 or 7 when I got these vehicles. Saved my pocket money and ended up with the whole series. They have been played with but I was taught to respect my toys and they were stacked away nicely each night on a shelf. For the past 50+ years they've been wrapped in paper and stored in a box.
Alas, 7 yr olds didn't keep many boxes back then. No box.
