Quick relist for sold items

Earlier this year we made a change to the Sold items page, replacing the ‘Quick relist’ function with a ‘Sell identical items’ function. We made this change to allow sellers to create multiple new identical auctions from a sold item, rather than just one relist. However, this change also meant that there was no longer a link available from your sold auction to the relisted auction.

We’ve received consistent feedback from users objecting to the change, and asking for the original ‘Quick relist’ function. We’ve now changed this back, giving you (and your previous bidders and watchers) a link from your sold auctions to the relisted auctions.

Email issues for some members

We are currently experiencing problems sending emails to Microsoft mail clients, this includes Hotmail, MSN, Windows Live and Live.com. It appears that Microsoft are having technical issues and they haven’t been able to receive mail for the last couple of hours. We have been in touch with Microsoft and they are trying to resolve this as quickly as possible. In the mean time please check your My Trade Me pages for updates on any auctions you are participating in.

Advanced operators in sidebar searches

We recently rolled out advanced operators in our top search bar. You can now use these operators in our sidebar searches as well, to perform advanced searches for vehicles, properties, jobs and other specialised categories.

Here’s a quick operator reference guide:

Use quotes " " to find an exact phrase, e.g. "Bob the BuilderMore...

Phone assistance is now available
