Trade Me tickled pink for Pink Shirt Day
Written by Cat in General at 9:00am, Fri 17 May 2013
You may have noticed Kevin the Kiwi sporting a pink shirt today – he’s celebrating Pink Shirt Day, an annual event celebrated throughout New Zealand and around the world.
Pink Shirt Day is aimed at raising awareness about the power to prevent bullying. Its goal is to reduce bullying by celebrating diversity and promoting the development of positive social relationships. For more about Pink Shirt Day, check out the website.
Our staffers here at Trade Me are getting involved too by donning their pink shirts today; keep an eye out on our Facebook page for a picture. If you’d like to share a pic of you and your friends or colleagues wearing your pink shirts, feel free to post it on our Facebook page.
