A new way to browse: Gaming and more

We’ve just made a change to the way search results are displayed in the Electronics & photography, Gaming, and Music & instruments categories.

Starting today, when you’re in these categories you’ll see a new visual page layout when searching and browsing. The appearance of each listing depends on an improved range of promotional products available in the category:

• Basic: Small image in search results.
• Gallery: Medium image in search results (2x larger than Basic) and higher position in the category.
• Feature: Large image in search results (4x larger than Basic) and best position in the category.
• Feature Combo: Highlights listing and includes all benefits of Feature.

For sellers
Current listings in the Electronics & Photography, Gaming, and Music & Instruments categories have automatically picked up any changes to the promotional products and their features. For example, if you had purchased Gallery for your listing, this will now be displayed in search results with an image 2x bigger than a Basic listing and appear higher in the category.

For buyers
The new page layout is more visually appealing and will make it easier for you to browse listings and quickly check out their main photo. You can still sort and filter listings in all the usual ways.
