Description
Lamb" Laboratory Lamp
The "Lamb" was manufactured in 1920s England by John Shaw & Sons (Wolverhampton) Ltd. and was a petrol-fuelled stove of 0.33 pint capacity, with a brass tank. It was claimed to burn for 1 hour on a full tank. The tank is only 83mm diameter, and the overall height of the stove is about 120mm. Originally the Lamb Laboratory Lamp would have been supplied with a choice of three inter-changeable burner heads; a conventional "96-type" roarer burner, a fish-tail burner, and the Bunsen burner.
