This Rare Antique French Sterling Silver 12 Piece Teaspoon Set in Case dates around 1897-1910

An exceptionally rare chance to acquire a nineteenth century French sterling silver set of High Tea Teaspooms which are adorned with exceptional Patterns & Designs. The set is of the highest quality and made by the master silversmith Charles Murat and they are in great condition. (but could do with a polish)

Fully hallmarked and bear the maker's mark of Charles Bretrand Murat. - Charles Bertrand Murat, born on 1 April 1818 in Toulon.

The Hallmarks bear the makers mark of CM with his signature mark of a berry with two leaves.

Made & Hallmarked with the 1st Standard of 950 Pure Silver with The Minerva 1 Hallmark.

Each Spoon is of large teaspoon size @ 138mm long and weigh approx 24.75 Grams Each

The set is housed in the original case from H. Bouchet Jewelery & Fine Silver House in St. Chamond
