About the Author

Phillip Gwynne spent his childhood by the sea and has a degree in Marine Biology. The multi-award-winning Deadly, Unna? was his first novel and he won an AFI award for best adapted screenplay for the film adaptation, Australian Rules. Phillip has written several books in the Aussie Bites series, and Swerve for older readers. His first picture book, The Queen with The Wobbly Bottom, was published in 2012.
