Rostock Max V3.

We have used this the last couple of years to print PLA parts. About a year ago we decided to replace the old 1.75mm extruder head with a 3mm one. At the same time replaced the arms and carriages with the newer models. Since then have had very little success and the hotend is overheating. Unfortunately for us it is uneconomical to spend time fixing it so here's a bargain for someone with 3d printer know-how. Included is the current 3mm hotend, 2 x 1.75mm used hotends, 3 x brand new 1.75mm bare hotends, 3 x new 1.75mm extruder nozzles and a couple of new thermistors(last photo).

Currently, everything on it works fine apart from the hotend/extruder. If you have some experience with 3D printers or are good at fixing stuff you should be able to get it up and running fairly quickly.

Work that needs to be done to get it printing:

• New hotend with correct thermistor and matching firmware settings.
• Attach a longer PTFE filament feeder tube between the motor and the hotend to give extruder the full range and enable it to reach the print bed.

Key Specs:

Max z-resolution = 0.125mm

Avg. print speed = 30 – 60mm/s

Max hotend temperature = 245mm/s (can be increased by installing the appropriate hotend and making changes to the firmware)

Max heated bed temperature = 100 C

Maximum printable x/y area = 280mm (diam.)

Maximum printable square size = 197mm

Maximum printable z-height = 375mm

Comes with the cables (power and Motherboard coms) as well as the memory card that the print jobs can be loaded onto as well as a mulitude of other bits and pieces.
