10” Edison Diamond Disc (78rpm)
82292 “Vesper Hymn” (Frieda Hempel and the Lyric Male Quartet) “Home Sweet Home” (Frieda Hempel)
These old records from the early 1900’s are 6mm thick (quarter of an inch) and weigh 450g each (almost exactly the weight of a pound of butter).
Edison Diamond Discs have vertical grooves – “hill and dale” – rather than the more common lateral grooves. I don’t have an Edison player to test them on, so they are sold in “as is” condition.
(+) Pick up is from Stokes Valley, or I can bring in to Wellington city (free delivery). (+) I will pack carefully for good protection in the mail. (+) Postage would be the NZ Post cost price.
