Very old Indian Tree pattern Minton trio - cup, saucer and plate (not Mintons - "Basic impressed mark 'Minton' was used from 1862-72. From 1873 onwards 'Mintons' was used" ex Potteries.org). If you know more about the age, please feel free to correct me.

Looks to be hand painted over a transfer print, in a style reminiscent of Chinese famille rose.

All pieces have several impressed marks one of which could date it to 1853, but after reading Potteries.org it appears to be 1862-72, so I just can't be sure.

There is some loss of gilding to the rims, not surprising in something of this age that has obviously been used. The handle of the cup is gorgeous, molded beautifully - which I will try to capture in the photographs.
