A farmer milled an oak tree on the farm and had a joiner hand craft his wife to be, a wedding present. Hes dead, shes 100 and in a home so this beautiful set is 80 years old. The workmanship is amazing. Ladies drawers with large mirror. Mans drawer set. Two bedside tables and bedhead. All pieces are in really good condition or its age. There is some superficial damage. With a sand and revarnish on some surfaces, this set would look amazing again. On the ladies drawers, there is some water damage on right and some irregular sun fade to left. And there is one veneer that has cracked which is an easy fix and would not be seen again There is an irregular sun fade and a small mark on headboard. 3 drawer units are in good nick with a few minor transportation marks on one side of one unit. And damage to the rear backing board on one unit that is never seen once against the wall. This set is a very rear find!
