Description You are bidding on a late 70's PIONEER monster amplifier receiver. Back in the 70’s and 80’s all the audio manufactures were at war to create the largest power wattage a stereo receiver could have. This war was called the ‘Stereo Wars’ with this very unit being one of the largest, most powerful receivers Pioneer could build at the time. I have been the owner of this receiver and keep it covered when not in used; resulting in no apparent scratches, dents or rust. The original owner before me has looked after this in a similar way. The previous owner told me that it was serviced by AXENT Audio many years ago, and after some inspection we believe it! The insides are perfect, the cosmetics are great, the top is an 8/10 and all the functions, switches, dials and buttons work as they should. Overall, this is well looked after amplifier that has stood the test of time. Due to their age, units like these tend to rust away, making them very rare and highly collectable. To sweeten the deal, the successful buyer gets the option to have either ‘Cool Blue’ or ‘Warm Yellow’ LEDs inside it. Whatever the buyer decides, we will install it free of charge!
