3 x vintage antique chocolate rabbit moulds, absolutely beautiful.

These moulds are really hard to find nowadays given that they’re 100 years old already and were replaced by plastic and other materials in the 50’s and 60’s.

Up for sale are 3 authentic collectible Easter moulds showing rabbit family members hopping on their way delivering Easter eggs to the kids and children all over.

Please note: there is only 1 side to the 3rd mould.

1. Rabbit with EGG and basket on back. Made by: Anton Reiche mould and tin fabrication company. Date: ca. 1915 to 1925 era. Made in: Dresden, Germany. Manufacturer catalogue reference #6755. Condition: Has light patina and is in good condition for century old item. Some thinning of the tin is present on exterior, interior is fairly shiny still. Comment: This mould has 2 parts to it and comes with one original metal clip to hold.
2. Rabbit with EMPTY basket on back. Made by: Heris metalware company. Date: ca. 1920 to 1927 era. Made in: Nuremberg, Germany. Production catalogue reference #308. Condition: Beautiful dark patina and detailing. Some wearing is present on exterior, interior is mottled. Comment: This mould has 2 parts to it and comes with one original metal clip to hold.
3. Rabbit with BABY bunny on back. Date: 1910 - 1940 era. Manufacturer unknown. Condition: Exterior and interior has lovely patina, some fine pitting in metal can be seen.
   Comment: This mould only has ONE part.

These are made by very famous and highly sought after firms that existed before ww2. The war killed off the export trade of these tinned metal items and eventually the companies too.

Not sure about chocolate or candy anymore but these can be used for candle making, making gifts from wax figurines or chalk ware. Otherwise they just make fantastic decorations in a cottage kitchen setting.
