Unfortunately for us the Transparent melamine finish applied doesn't meet our spec and isnt suitable for use on our products however these if you don't mind the finish these would be great for lining walls, floors, ceilings or building furniture out of.

Hi, interested in this, but does the melamine face make it impractical for glueing? Also keen to see a photo or two of the edge grain please. Thanks. g********f (307 • 8:54 am, Fri, 7 Jun )Gidday, The surface finish shouldn't make it difficult for gluing, it's bonded on there pretty tight.what type of glue are you using? I'll add a couple pics of the end grain shortly. rob_from_fiasco (1 • Friday, 7 June 2024 )Thanks.. just PVA wood glue generally, I’m guessing this wouldn’t bond melamine too well compared to wood surface… I have a few things in mind that this wouldn’t affect, but I do need to laminate two panels together for one project at least. I’ll look in to this some more. Next question is delivery cost to Titirangi, Auckland for 2-3 sheets. Thanks! g********f (307 • 12:45 pm, Fri, 7 Jun )No worries, We've had success bonding sheets together with 3m Film, basically a heavy duty double sided tape. Shipping to Titirangi is $180 on Team global express (used to be called Toll) rob_from_fiasco (1 • Friday, 7 June 2024 )
