Edit: We have found a home for Otto thanks. :)

We are looking to re-home our gorgeous boy Otto. He is a pure golden Labrador who is very friendly, and loves playing fetch. He has just turned 6.

Otto has lived with us his whole life. We have three young children and live rurally with other animals and dogs on the property.

We are wanting to re-home Otto as we have a couple of unfixed female dogs on the property and other unfixed female dogs who visit the property. He has been pestering them (not aggressive, just keen on them) and so we have been having to keep him seperate when ever there is a dog on heat around. He is fixed, but still notices.

Ideally his new home home would be someone with space (or the ability to walk him every day). He is a bit of a country bumpkin dog. Used to running around the paddocks and burning up energy.

We also believe he would settle best into a home with another dog (either fixed male or fixed female) as he has always had other dogs around. However, we would consider a home without other dogs if there was someone around a lot.

He has basic training. Will sit and wait for dinner and eat on command “eat.” Will seek out a stick or ball on the command “seek”. Will come when called (although can get distracted easily).

He spends very little time on a lead as just runs up the paddocks for his walks so might need some harness training to remind him not to pull if you were planning on waking him on a lead a lot.

Can get jumpy when he meets new people or is overly excited, but is very friendly.

Always been generally healthy and has had no major health issues.
