These are a sealed 2 way speaker.
Cabinets made from honeycomb aluminium.
They were famous in their day for having a magical midrange, a bit like quad electrostatics and the LS3/5A and have the same mid roll off at both ends of the frequency spectrum.
The Celestion SL600’s can be very seductive, have great imaging, are tonally pure in the mids.
