This mobility chair/scooter was purchased to give indoor and outdoor independence while living at home.

Unfortunately the owner has had to go into hospital care sooner than expected. This chair/scooter is now too big for the smaller room at the care facility.

And so a smaller model has been purchased for this purpose. This chair/scooter is therefore now available. It is in pristine near-new condition and has been serviced by a qualified technician. The seat has been covered with a sheepskin cover and so there is no wear on the seat at all.

As per the information sheet provided the new price for this model is currently $5795.

The controls are via a joystick. In its neutral position the chair won’t move - essentially braked by the electric motor. It is very easy for a carer to walk beside and work the joystick. At its slowest it is very slow so hard to get into trouble. At its fastest it gets along at probably 5 mph for dong trips to the supermarket etc. This one has only been used on carpet around the home and so is still in pristine condition. glenallan54 (138) • Wednesday, 1 May 2024
