Outstanding opportunity to get 40 plus years of breeding genetics at a BARGAIN PRICE. A Miniature Hereford Stud comprising approximately 30 breeding cows, six replacements and four bulls (two from imported semen). Sadly my health issues mean that these beautiful cattle need to go to a new home. Most cows are polled, the bulls are all polled. Many years of hard work to get to this stage but because of personal health issues it's now time that someone else got the pleasure from these fantastic cattle. The cows are quiet and safe to work around, they see me, I call out and they come to the gate, (no dogs are necessary) and you can walk around in the paddock with them, they are a joy to be around. Ideally they all to go together, to someone who will carry on our hard work, BUT happy to sell in smaller mobs. It's all about getting the right home. There are 6 young R3 heifers for herd replacements(not yet registered) making a total of approximately 40 head. Registered is an easy process for the new owner to undertake.

Why Miniature Herefords, they are about 2/3's-3/4 of the size of a "normal" Hereford (they are not toy cattle!!!), their lighter frames do a lot less pasture damage, they are easier to handle and to work around being slightly smaller, their grass to meat conversion ratio is better, and really importantly, they produce a calf of about 20/25kgs which is about 2/3's the size of a "normal" Hereford, so the bulls make ideal sires to go over dairy first calvers.
