Oh hey, Round 2! PLEASE READ EVERY WORD OF THIS LISTING.

So I barrel rolled in the waves in the sea in December '23 with both my Sony A7iii's and lenses. It was the greatest. ????

This $1 reserve auction is for 1 Sony A7iii that fared the worst, seems to be working today but not every day, and WITH DEFINITE QUIRKS and a Sony G Master 85mm lens that does not turn on properly - it makes the whirring starter motor sound (I imagine that's what it is) and does not stop. THESE HAVE BEEN IN THE OCEAN.

This A7iii has not been looked over by a professional. I have turned it on maybe 20 times and taken some photos with it but haven't tested it on a shoot or a great length or anything like that. This one hasn't turned on every time. The exposure compensation dial does not work - I have programmed it into the function menu for easy access and this does work. There is a bit of corrosion/rust SD card door hinges/battery space.

Camera seems to reset itself some of the time on turning on when left without battery for a while. The LCD screen on the back does NOT work. The e viewfinder DOES work. Auto focus does not work (tho may sometimes?).

I have taken a few RAW images and a short video with this camera and lens since the incident.
Final photo of the leaf is with this camera but not this lens. Everything else, I'm unsure about. Lens is the beautiful 85mm GM but whirrs on start up - VERY occasionally has become functional and may possibly be fixable? No idea. There is a tiny scratch on the front element - this has been there since the day I bought it and tried to put the wrong lens cap on it hahaha - has not affected use or images at all. There is sand grinding in the turnable focus/aperture rings on this lens.
