Seventy years on and this 1954 edition of Australian House and Garden speaks even louder today than it did 74 years ago, when minimalism was pushing forward. Of special interest is the New Zealand Henderson House in Titirangi, which adorns the cover in full colour and tells quite a cover throughout the edition. All else within is mostly Australian and is packed with the real deal of the day.
