Wanaka Wedding and Event Hire had been established since February 2014, after recognising a gap in the high end market for quality bespoke event hire. The business is based in Wanaka, and could be relocatable anywhere in NZ.

The current owner purchased WWEH in 2017 with a vision to grow the business - however just hasn't had the time to dedicate to it. She initially purchased it for $45,000 - but wants it to go to someone that will dedicate their time and grow the business again. Hiring chairs especially is limited in Wanaka.

Currently the plant is stored in two units with Wanaka Storage Solutions at $290 per month Incl GST per unit. The units are approx. 3 metres wide and 6 metres long.

The majority of the business was from their basic website, and two ads per week were placed in the Messenger - a Wanaka community newspaper. The business understands the importance of staying in contact with caterers, event planners both in Queenstown and Wanaka. The quality website, image photography had initially been captured by award winning photographer Anna Allan. The website has not been hosted for over a year now due to being unable to commit time to the business. There are 3 domain names purchased - connect to your own website or create a new one.

The plant had been personally handpicked by the vendors who attended the Guangzhou International Trade Fair and all contacts from the fare are transferrable. Direct contact was made to the manufactures for bespoke chairs, quality cushions, and much more. The hire would cover an event for around 80-120pax.

To control the costs the business does not deliver, it is up to the client to arrange to pick the hire and return the hire in the same condition that it was pick up. When the hire is returned, an employee is there to meet the client on site and inspect the hire.

The asking price is for the stock and the 3 domain names, there are no financials available.
