Here we have an Aura in need of (probably) cosmetic restoration. The motor works, the main bearing runs well and silently and all major components seem to be there. To fully restore it, the platter and motor housing will need a repaint and the mirror needs resilvering. There are some new main belts. There is adhesive residue on the tonearm mounting perspex, may need to be machined off. A couple of pieces of aluminum trim between the chassis boards are missing but are easily obtained. Likewise the suspension springs and squash balls. We have not tested the speed control. We're selling it as-is for restoration. There is no tonearm or cartridge. It is too heavy yet delicate to deliver: pickup only from central Auckland. I will do my best to answer questions but general information about the Aura is available online. This is an opportunity for a handy person to get a truly high-end turntable at a bargain price.
